О ГЛАВНЫХ ПРИЗНАКАХ ПРАВИЛЬНОЙ ДУХОВНОЙ ЖИЗНИ
Однажды меня кто-то спросил: «Как понять, что я веду правильную церковную жизнь? Некоторые часто ходят в церковь, молятся, участвуют в богослужениях, Таинствах, но я не вижу заметных изменений в их жизни, точнее, наблюдаю то же, что и в миру, ожидал от них чего-то большего. Какие признаки правильной церковной жизни?»
С одной стороны, о происходящем в тайниках твоей души знаешь только ты и Бог, а с другой, нечто определяется по твоему поведению с супругой или супругом, с детьми, с окружающими.
Некоторые пожилые люди говорят: «Я с самого детства хожу в храм». И что? Каков результат?
Когда ты говоришь, что находишься рядом с Христом, то будут плоды, по-другому никак. Твоя внутренняя жизнь так или иначе проявится вне. Приближаясь к Христу, ты счастье обретаешь не вовне, а внутри себя, то есть не печалишься из-за тех или иных событий, не разочаровываешься по пустякам. Кто-то что-то скажет – обижаешься, плохая погода на улице – впадаешь в меланхолию, человек же, преуспевающий в духовной жизни, ощущает мир и спокойствие в глубине своего сердца, и это проявляется во всех его действиях.
Когда имеешь блаженство Святого Духа в себе, никакие внешние факторы не могут нарушить твой внутренний покой.
Однажды давно я разгневался на одного человека и общался с ним грубо. Тот на меня спокойно смотрел. По прошествии длительного времени я спросил у него: «Как ты вытерпел тогда все то, что я тебе говорил?» «Я понял, что у тебя какая-то проблема. И не хотел тебя огорчать еще больше, не хотел тебя обижать», – ответил он. Спокойно выслушай ближнего своего, но не впутывайся в его проблему. Это не значит, что ты пренебрежительно отнесешься к нему, попытайся его понять.
Однажды отец Паисий переправлялся на корабле с Дафни в Уранополис. Ему предложили отдельную комнату для монахов, чтобы избежать мирских людей. На что геронда ответил: «Как так? Почему я должен сидеть один, разве что-то скрываю? Мы же все одинаковы». Это очень важный момент. Следует осознать, что мы все братья во Христе и движемся к одной цели. Насколько духовно возрастаешь, настолько и соединяешься со своим ближним. Понимая слова Христа, что значит быть слугой для брата своего, осознаешь, что значит омыть ноги другому.
