Сегодня, оказывается, День братьев и сестер:) Как-то не очень я к этим праздникам, а вот конкретно сегодня задело))
Люблю Вас, братья мои, отец Алипий и Брат Иван! Дорогие, всегда или почти всегда:) понимающие, а главное, те, кто точно не предаст.
10 апреля в разных странах мира отмечается очередной семейный праздник – День братьев и сестёр (Siblings Day). В США он называется Национальный день братьев и сестёр (National Siblings Day). Не слишком известный, он призван продолжить славную традицию чествования семейных и родственных уз, укрепляя отношения между близкими людьми, каковыми и являются по отношению друг к другу братья и сёстры. Надо сказать, что сама по себе традиция чествования кровной близости брата и сестры, тёплых отношений между ними на протяжении всей жизни существовала у многих народов. Например, в Индии и сегодня есть соответствующий национальный праздник – Ракша-бандхан, который отмечается во второй половине лета и сопровождается ритуалами. Так, сестра повязывает на запястье брату священную повязку или шнурок, который, согласно преданиям, должен защищать от злых сил. Брат, в свою очередь, подносит сестре подарок, обещая защищать её всю жизнь и помогать. Этот национальный праздник стоит на страже семейных ценностей и призван постоянно напоминать ближайшим родственным душам о необходимости взаимной любви и взаимопомощи. Появление же сегодняшнего праздника связано с другой страной и имеет свою историю, но так же, как и в Индии, направленную на напоминание братьям и сёстрам о том, что они – самые близкие в этом мире люди по отношению друг к другу. Традиция отмечать День братьев и сестёр 10 апреля пришла из США. Идейным вдохновителем учреждения нового праздника стала Клаудия Эварт. Она потеряла своих родных брата и сестру в раннем возрасте и тяжело переживала эту утрату. В память о них Клаудия и решила организовать проведение праздника, а в качестве даты выбрала 10 апреля – День рождения её сестры.

This national holiday guards family values and is designed to constantly remind the closest kindred spirits of the need for mutual love and mutual assistance. The appearance of today's holiday is associated with another country and has its own history, but just like in India, it is aimed at reminding brothers and sisters that they are the closest people in this world in relation to each other.
