Alex Smoke (Alex Menzies), a young British electronics engineer from Glasgow. He released two full-length albums ‘Incommunicado’ and ‘Paradolia’ on the well-known Scottish label Soma Records, as well as an impressive number of tracks and remixes, most of which were recorded on the same Soma and German label Vakant.
Under the influence of many different styles - dub, electro, grime and minimal techno - Alex creates deeply emotional music, at once mystical, melancholic and inspiring.
