Витебский вокзал - старейший в России. Это одно из первых зданий в стиле модерн в Петербурге, а точнее австрийского сецессиона. И все детали, присущие этому стилю, здесь прослеживаются. Интерьер диктует форму здания, плавные растительные линии ковки, лепнины, обилие витражей и другое. Отправляясь с этого вокзала в путь, пассажиры пробегают всю эту красоту, не замечая. Поэтому стоит прийти сюда специально и не спеша прогуляться по залам вокзала.

Vitebsky railway station is the oldest in Russia. This is one of the first buildings in the Art Nouveau style in St. Petersburg, or rather the Austrian Secession. And all the details inherent in this style can be traced here. The interior dictates the shape of the building, flowing plant lines of forging, stucco moldings, an abundance of stained-glass windows and more. Departing from this station on the way, passengers run through all this beauty without noticing. Therefore, it is worth coming here on purpose and taking a leisurely stroll through the halls of the station.
