27 января 1944 года советские войска полностью сняли длившуюся 900 дней фашистскую блокаду города, отбросив немецкие войска на расстояние около 100 км от Ленинграда. Пришло время вспомнить подвиг жителей Ленинграда. 27 января в Санкт-Петербурге отмечается день полного снятия блокады Ленинграда — праздник со слезами на глазах. В этот день многие вспоминают те дни, ведь многие жители города напрямую связаны с теми героями войны, выстоявшими во время блокады. Историки до сих пор не могут установить точное число умерших от голода, холода и бомбардировок горожан. Если приводить приблизительные цифры, то во время блокады в городе умирали ежемесячно примерно 130 000 человек.
