Депутат Законодательного собрания Петербурга от фракции «Яблоко» Борис Вишневский поддержал идею некой инициативной группы, которая подала в Горизбирком предложение о лишении мандата парламентариев, выступающих против передачи Исаакиевского собора. Об этом он заявил «Телеграфу».
«Горизбирком, во-первых, не рассматривает вопрос о лишении нас мандата. Он рассматривает ходатайство некой инициативной группы о том, что они хотят провести на эту тему (по вопросу лишения депутатского статуса — прим. ред.) референдум. Правда, этот референдум нельзя провести по федеральному закону. Но об этом, видимо, инициаторы не знают», — пояснил Вишневский.
«Мы обеими руками "за" такие референдумы. Это просто референдум по Исаакиевскому собору, только наоборот. Это прекрасно. Вот пусть все и увидят, кого город поддерживает», — добавил парламентарий.
Вишневский уточнил, что не знает, от того исходит инициатива о лишении его и еще нескольких депутатов мандата. «Она может исходить и от Смольного, и от "Единой России", может исходить и от каких-нибудь якобы "православных активистов". От тех, кто очень боится нашей борьбы за сохранение Исаакиевского собора», — подытожил Вишневский.
Ранее появилась информация, что Городская избирательная комиссия Санкт-Петербурга 25 мая рассмотрит вопрос о лишении мандатов депутатов, которые голосовали против передачи Исаакиевского собора РПЦ. В повестку заседания, опубликованную на сайте, включен вопрос «о рассмотрении ходатайства инициативной группы по проведению референдума Санкт-Петербурга». Петербуржцам предлагают ответить на вопрос, считают ли они «необходимым отозвать депутатов» Законодательного собрания Михаила Амосова, Бориса Вишневского, Оксану Дмитриеву, Алексея Ковалева, Максима Резника и Сергея Трохманенко.
24 мая депутаты Законодательного собрания Петербурга на пленарном заседании снова исключили из повестки дня вопрос о референдуме о статусе Исаакиевского собора. Избирательная комиссия Петербурга 28 марта со второй попытки подтвердила соответствие законодательству документов инициативной группы по проведению референдума. Теперь документ должны рассмотреть в Законодательном собрании, а инициаторы — собрать 75 тыс. подписей горожан. Одновременно заявители готовят иск в суд с требованием обязать Законодательное собрание рассмотреть вопрос о референдуме.
