Так сложилось, что в последнее время я познакомился с двумя подряд заслуживающими внимания произведениями, связанными схожей тематикой. Сначала прочитал книгу "Метро 2035", а потом посмотрел нашумевший сериал от HBO "Чернобыль". Оба действуют в контексте ядерной катастрофы, хотя и рассказывают о разном.
"Метро" - всё ещё постапокалипсис. Хорошо, что я прочитал эту книгу лишь спустя 12 лет после первых двух - "2033" и "2034", иначе, возможно, меня бы ждало то же разочарование, что и многих фанатов серии. Теперь Московский метрополитен уже не пугающий мир загадочных монстров-мутантов и странных аномалий. Он заполнен куда более страшными созданиями - людьми. И ужасы, описываемые в этой части дадут сто очков вперёд и чёрным из первой книги, и эпидемии из второй. "Метро 2035" - книга об обществе, взгляд на то, как человек сам готов принимать любые самые невыносимые условия существования, если побег от них означает выход за пределы навязанной ему картины мира. При этом книга получилась очень остросюжетной. Редко когда бывает, что бы серьёзный смысл был завёрнут в столь увлекательную упаковку. Браво, Глуховский!
"Чернобыль" поглотил своей атмосферой чудовищной катастрофы, сминающей, уничтожающей судьбы тысяч людей. Напряжённо сидеть у экрана заставляет ощущение чего-то ужасного и одновременно - это важно - небывалого, непредставимого. Хотя создателям и не удалось, на мой взгляд, раскрыть слоган сериала "What is the cost of lies?", но драматически он поставлен блестяще. Особая благодарность за кропотливое воссоздание всех мелочей советского быта. Правда, справедливости ради, я могу понять, почему некоторые люди испытывают сильнейший негатив по отношению к сериалу. Могу лишь посоветовать им принять разницу между документальными и художественными фильмами.

And the horrors described in this part will give a hundred points ahead for black from the first book, and epidemics from the second. "Metro 2035" is a book about society, a look at how a person is ready to accept any of the most intolerable conditions of existence, if running away from them means going beyond the bounds of the picture of the world imposed on him. At the same time, the book turned out to be very action-packed. It rarely happens that serious meaning would be wrapped in such an exciting package. Bravo, Glukhovsky!
Chernobyl swallowed in its atmosphere a monstrous catastrophe crushing, destroying the fate of thousands of people. Sitting tightly at the screen makes you feel something terrible and at the same time - this is important - an unprecedented, unimaginable. Although the creators did not succeed, in my opinion, to reveal the slogan of the series "What is the cost of lies?", But it is dramatically delivered brilliantly. Special thanks for the painstaking recreation of all the little things in Soviet life. True, for the sake of justice, I can understand why some people experience a strong negative in relation to the series. I can only advise them to accept the difference between documentaries and feature films.
