Депутат Алексей Ковалев направил обращение с просьбой незамедлительно остановить снос здания на набережной Лейтенанта Шмидта. К парламентарию обратились жители соседних домов на 14-й линии Васильевского острова. По словам жильцов, работы ведутся с серьезными нарушениями - без оповещения, установки забора или других защитных ограждений.
Авторы обращения говорят, что уже произошло обрушение части сносимого здания. И теперь люди опасаются не только за сохранность своих автомобилей, но и за собственную жизнь. Части фасада падают прямо на тротуар и во дворы рядом стоящих зданий, а там ходят пешеходы.
Опасность нависла в частности над домом номер 1 по 14-й линии Васильевского острова. Как стало известно, работы проводит строительная фирма "Ирон" - техника приступила к работе еще 8 февраля. Местные жители пытаются призвать компанию к ответу, но пока безрезультатно.
