В рамках дела о превышении служебных полномочий задержан заместитель начальника управления по борьбе с экономическими преступлениями и противодействию коррупции МВД России Борис Колесников. Это произошло после допроса у следователя, к которому Колесников был вызван 24 февраля.
Обвинения Борису Колесникову пока не предъявлены, отмечает "Интерфакс". Борис Колесников — фигурант уголовного дела о "провокации взятки и превышении полномочий", напоминает телеканал "Россия 24". По версии следствия, взятку собирались дать заместителю начальника одного из подразделений Управления собственной безопасности ФСБ России.
Президент России Владимир Путин своим указом 21 февраля 2014 года освободил от должности начальника Главного управления экономической безопасности и противодействия коррупции МВД России генерал-лейтенанта полиции Дениса Сугробова. Президент также освободил от должности заместителя министра внутренних дел, начальника следственного департамента МВД России генерал-майора юстиции Юрия Алексеева.
Недавно в отношении группы высокопоставленных сотрудников Главного управления по борьбе с экономической преступностью и противодействию коррупции (ГУБЭПиПК) МВД России было возбуждено уголовное дело по факту вымогательства и превышения должностных полномочий. Были задержаны 8 человек.
В пресс-центре МВД России сообщили, что подозреваемые на время расследования освобождены от исполнения обязанностей, проводится служебная проверка. При этом там подчеркнули, что сотрудники не арестованы, они не находятся под домашним арестом, обвинения им не предъявлены.
17 февраля 2014 года в ГУЭБиПК прошли обыски связанные с уголовным делом о превышении должностных полномочий и провокации взятки.
