В результате Burton возвращается к своим корням и будет концентрироваться на pure snowboarding, с чего все и началось в 1977.
Главной ошеломительной новостью стало то, что в 2014 году закроется The Program (Foursquare, Forum, Special Blend).
Бренд Analog - со следующей осени будет связан только со сноубордингом, соответственно, серфовые и скейтовые направления закрываются.
Gravis - переезжает на азиатские рынки, штаб-квартира переезжает в Токио. Бренд с осени 2013 года, видимо, может вовсе исчезнуть с рынка Европы и Северной Америки.
Anon и Red - будут также связаны со сноубордингом. Но шлемы и защита будут теперь производиться под брендом Anon, как и оптика. Постепенно Red будет закрыт.
Лишь Channel Island - бренд по производству серф-досок будет единственным вне сноубордическим брендом линейки.
