С новым днем, люди! С новым кофе! Удивительно красиво за окном идет церковная служба (идет она в Соборе, но трансляция на площадь, а окошко мое совсем рядом))) Сегодня в Кронштадте открывают памятник адмиралу св. праведному Федору Ушакову и передают ковчег с его мощами, а также список Порт-Артурской иконы Божией Матери в Морской собор . Так что у нас праздник большой нынче!
А в истории сей день отметился целым рядом событий. В 1721 г. подписан Ништадтский мир, завершивший Великую Северную войну, в 1725 Екатерина I учредила орден Святого Александра Невского, в 1756 по приказу Елизаветы Петровны учреждён первый русский театр - ныне Российский государственный академический театр драмы имени А.С. Пушкина (любимая Александринка), в 1940 в СССР утверждено положение о паспортах, в 1964 Род Стюарт записал свой первый сингл «Good Morning, Little Schoolgirl», в 1988 американский хит-парад впервые удалось возглавить группе «Guns N' Roses» с песней «Sweet Child o’Mine», а в 1993 показан первый эпизод "Секретных материалов".
Родились в этот день Игорь Костолевский и Лариса Долина, Вольф Мессинг и Женя Белоусов, Люсьена Овчинникова, режиссер Евгений Татарский, Дон Пауэлл (ударник «Slade»), Джо Пэрри, («Aerosmith»), Гай Ричи, "Чача" Иванов и Егор Летов.
