Боткина, в 1912 открыт отель "Астория" в Петербурге, в 1913 основана Федеральная резервная система (США) из некоторых крупных банков, в 1918 захват Бессарабии Румынией, в 1919 основан Центральный музей Вооруженных Сил в Москве, в 1947 Указом Президиума ВС СССР 1 января объявлено праздничным днем и выходным, в 1953 расстреляли Л. П. Берию, В. Н. Меркулова, Б. З. Кобулова, С. А. Гоглидзе, П. Я. Мешика, В. Г. Деканозова и Л. Е. Влодзимирского, а в 1994 издан Указ об автономном территориальном образовании Гагаузия (Gagauz-Yeri) в составе Республики Молдова.
