Сегодня тоже не менее великолепный день для отдыха - День железнодорожника в России и странах бывшего СССР, который отмечается уже 120 лет, День службы специальной связи и информации при ФСО РФ, День подразделений оперативно-розыскной информации криминальной полиции РФ, а главное - День холостяка (ну есть же такие!) и День собирания звёзд. Собирать звезды, при нынешней погоде процесс, конечно, непростой, но попробовать-то можно, а вдруг повезет? И еще сегодня День побед русского флота - при Гангуте и Гренгаме.
История в этот день преподносила свои сюрпризы: в 1525 в недавно основанный Новодевичий монастырь торжественно перенесен образ Богоматери Одигитрии Смоленской, в 1560 Иван Грозный повелел в спешном порядке строить в Москве дворцы его ближайшим родственникам (детям и брату), в 1714 победа при Гангуте: крупная победа русского флота над шведской эскадрой, одно из ключевых сражений Северной войны, спустя 4 года, в честь этой победы, в Петербурге будет заложена часовня во имя святого Пантелеимона, в дальнейшем перестроенная в современную Пантелеимоновскую церковь, а еще эту победу символизирует одна из трех полосок на гюйсе у моряков (еще две других - победы у Чесмы в 1770 и Синопа в 1853), в 1720 еще одна значимая победа молодого русского флота над шведами - в сражении при Гренгаме, она значительно ускорила заключение Ништадтского мирного договора 1721 года, в 1803 из Кронштадта в путешествие отправилась первая русская кругосветная экспедиция, шлюпом «Надежда» командовал Иван Фёдорович Крузенштерн, а «Невой» — Юрий Фёдорович Лисянский, в 1817 начала действовать Нижегородская ярмарка, кстати, Дюма-отец специально приехал увидеть эту достопримечательность "экзотической" страны, в 1870 Федор Тютчев написал свое знаменитое стихотворение «Я встретил вас…» , в 1912 Россия и Япония разграничили сферы своего влияния в Монголии и Маньчжурии, в 1932 в СССР за кражу государственной и коллективной собственности в крупных размерах введена смертная казнь — «закон о трёх колосках» (знаменитый «указ семь-восемь»), в 1941 военный лётчик Виктор Талалихин первый за Великую Отечественную войну произвёл таран в ночном воздушном бою, сбив на подступах к Москве вражеский бомбардировщик, в 1971 Bee Gees выпустили свой первый из последовавших позднее семи хитов "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?", в 1991 песня "The Promise of a New Day" Полы Абдул на первом месте в хит-парадах, в 1993 альбом Cypress Hill "Black Sunday" поднялся на вершины хит-парадов, а в 1995 завершилась операция «Буря», натовцы практически уничтожили Республики Сербская Краина и Республики Западная Босния.
