Первая рабочая пятница в году выпала (тыдыщ!) на 13 число и на канун старого Нового года - отличный повод, как ни крути))) Гирлянды еще светятся, игрушки на ёлке висят и даже живые ветки сосны ещё не думают осыпаться... с наступающим, народ! Кстати, праздничную подсветку демонтируют в Петербурге 15 января, так что кто не успел побывать на Дворцовой, у фонтана Адмиралтейства, на Невском - еще есть время полюбоваться...
Помимо пятницы 13-го, сегодня еще профессиональный праздник у многих моих коллег - День российской печати, с праздником, уважаемые, читателей вам адекватных и новостей приятных!!!
Сюда добавились: День святого Кнута в Швеции (окончание католических рождественских праздников), Лори - в северной Индии (праздник окончания зимы, а что вы хотели, Индия - страна загадочная), Щедрый вечер или Щедрец у славян - Большие зимние Святки, вернее их самая середина и День случайный попутчиков у чудиков (у каждого, наверное были такие встречи, когда за разговором с незнакомым человеком совершенно незаметно пролетает время пути).
А в народном календаре Васильев вечер, Васильева коляда, чествовали богослова и святителя Василия Кесарийского, ну и не забывали о старых традициях - накрывали богатый стол, особенно в чести была свинина (святой Василий считался покровителем свиноводов), варили каши (если каша получалась пышной и вкусной год обещал быть счастливым и богатым) и с удвоенным, а то и утроенным энтузиазмом гадали - считалось, что нагаданное в это время обязательно сбудется.
А в истории день дополнился следующими событиями: в 1703 в Москве вышел первый номер газеты «Ведомости» - первой российской газеты, в 1728 выходит первый номер "Санкт-Петербургских ведомостей", в 1813 русские войска, разбивая остатки наполеоновской армии, перешли Неман, в этот же день в русско-персидской войне отряд генерала Котляровского штурмом взял Ленкоранскую крепость, правда потеряв больше половины своего состава, в 1830 начала выходить "Литературная газета", в 1858 в России введены первые почтовые марки, в 1872 в России начала работать служба погоды, в 1874 в России объявлена всеобщая воинская повинность, в 1912 в Петербурге, в подвале дома на углу Итальянской улицы и Михайловской площади открылось артистической кафе "Бродячая собака", в 1934 в СССР появилась степень кандидата наук, в 1940 завершился героический дрейф во льдах Арктики ледокола «Георгий Седов», в 1944 многим ленинградским улицам и проспектам возвращены исторические названия - в том числе Невскому проспекту, в 1945 в ходе Великой Отечественной войны началась Восточно-Прусская наступательная операция советских войск, в 1953 начались аресты по так называемому "Делу врачей", в 1970 вышел первый альбом британской группы "Black Sabbath" (в тот год 13 января тоже выпало на пятницу), в 1973 альбом Slade "Slayed" № 1 в чартах, в 1991 штурм телецентра в Вильнюсе, Литва отмечает этот день как День защитников свободы, в 1997 - в петербургском клубе "Арт-клиника" прошёл первый концерт группировки "Ленинград" (название группы Сергей Шнуров придумал несколькими днями раньше), в 2002 Джордж Буш-младший поперхнулся соленым крендельком и об этом узнал весь мир, а в 2012 у берегов Италии потерпел крушение круизный лайнер «Costa Concordia», капитан которого постыдно оставил судно.
