С новым днём, народ! С новым кофе! Почувствовали вчера дыхание весны? И небо было совершенно весенним, и капель звенела, и даже птицы распелись... Скоро уже, совсем скоро! Сегодня Сретение Господне отмечают православные, один из двунадесятых праздников в церковном календаре, в честь встречи в Иерусалимском Храме Младенца Иисуса с праведным старцем Симеоном, собственно сретение - и есть встреча. Наши предки считали, что сегодня еще и зима с весной встречаются, так в народном календаре день и обозначен - Сретение Господне, Громницы. Громницы - потому что только в этот день зимой можно услышать грозу, как маленькое напоминание о приближающемся лете. Сретенские морозы (а сегодня как раз слегка подморозило) считаются последними, а сам день первым и большим праздником весны: в Сретение солнце на лето, зима на мороз поворотила. Забавный был обычай поджигать крестообразно волосы, считалось, что такая "процедура" спасает от головной боли, а погоду предвещал сам день - какое Сретение, такая и весна.
