В Петербурге сегодня много интересного: от всевозможных концертов до Ярмарок и выставок, в зоопарке отметят Международный день обезьян, в Музее варежки - "День добрых писем", в Центре искусства и музыки библиотеки Маяковского - Ночь музыки, а еще стартует Театральный фестиваль "Рождественский парад", на котором можно будет познакомиться с постановками небольших театральных коллективов со всей России.
И с праздниками сегодня всё отлично (повод поднять настроение мы всегда найдём): День Героев Отечества и День ведомственной охраны железнодорожного транспорта в России, Международный день памяти жертв преступления геноцида, Международный день борьбы с коррупцией, День грузчика, День оживления, День рождения компьютерной мыши, День кондитерских изделий и День рождения Оле-Лукойе у чудиков (помните, такой сказочный персонаж с разноцветными зонтиками, который приносит нам сны?).
В народном календаре: Егорий Зимний, Юрий Холодный, в честь святого Георгия Победоносца. На Руси его звали и Юрием, и именно к этому дню относится знаменитая фраза: «Вот тебе, бабушка, и Юрьев день!». Считалось, что до этого дня нужно раздать все долги, иначе всю жизнь придётся прожить должником, утеплить дом (морозы и холода не за горами), а еще святого просили уберечь домашний скот от волков, которые в это время выходили на охоту.
