Моих дорогих единоверцев с праздником Преображения Господа Бога и Спаса нашего Иисуса Христа! И с Яблочным Спасом всех-всех-всех!
Ух и праздников у нас накопилось! Сегодня еще отмечают: День Воздушного Флота России, День рождения русской тельняшки, Всемирный день фотографии, Всемирный день гуманитарной помощи, День сильных впечатлений, День филателии (День почтовой марки), День картофеля и День превращения в бабочку у чудиков.
В народном календаре: Яблочный Спас (Второй Спас). Освящают яблоки (а в южных районах и виноград) в церкви и начинается яблочное раздолье! Какой только вкусноты не готовят из крепких наливных фруктов! И пирожки с пирогами, и тортики, и шарлотки, и штрудели… А сколько рецептов различных существует! Ух, прямо захотелось немедленно приготовить свой любимый штрудель или цветаевский пирог и порадовать близких))). По погоде в этот день судили каким будет январь, и готовились к осени - Яблочный Спас практически первое свидание с ней…
История распорядилась этим днём в своих интересах: в 1687 в Березове Олонецкого уезда России более тысячи человек сожгли себя в знак протеста против перехода на трёхперстное крещение, в 1692 в Салеме (штат Массачусетс) произошла одна из крупнейших в истории вспышек религиозного фанатизма – «охота на ведьм», в этот день были повешены за колдовство пять женщин, в 1768 в Петербурге торжественно заложен «третий» Исаакиевский собор, возводившийся по проекту Антонио Ринальди, в 1790 в Брянском крае известными русскими купцами и промышленниками Мальцовыми на речке Ольшанке основана Дятьковская хрустальная фабрика — одно из старейших и крупнейших в России предприятий художественного стеклоделия, в 1839 под Санкт-Петербургом открыта Пулковская астрономическая обсерватория Российской академии наук, и широкой общественности представлен метод получения дагерротипа, в 1856 запатентован способ получения сгущённого молока, в 1874 тельняшка утверждена в качестве формы матросов на русском флоте, в 1884 в Петербурге на Пушкинской улице открыт памятник А. С. Пушкину работы А. М. Опекушина, поставленный на средства города, постройка обошлась в десять тысяч рублей, в 1905 император Николай II подписал манифест об учреждении в России Государственной Думы, в 1907 в Петербурге на Екатерининском канале, на месте, где был смертельно ранен Александр II, торжественно освящён храм Воскресения Христова (Спас на Крови), в 1936 Детское Село подчинено Ленинграду, в 1941 началась оборона Днепропетровска, в 1942 начались Новороссийская и Синявинская наступательная операции, в 1944 Александр Покрышкин стал первым трижды Героем Советского Союза, в 1947 впервые синтезирован витамин А, в 1960 первый в истории успешный полёт в космос живых существ: советский космический корабль с собаками Белкой и Стрелкой на борту совершил суточный полет с удачным возвращением на Землю, в 1967 «Пинк Флойд» впервые попали в хит-парад лучших альбомов со своей дебютной пластинкой «The Piper at the Gates of Dawn», в 1981 принято решение о создании Группы специального назначения «Вымпел» КГБ СССР, ставшей вскоре одним из сильнейших спецподразделений мира, в 1991 москвичи увидели на улицах города колонны танков, а по телевидению весь велась трансляция балета «Лебединое озеро», Советский Союз узнал, что президент СССР Михаил Горбачев отстранен от руководства страной и власть взял на себя ГКЧП, а в 1997 в Петербурге после многолетней реставрации открыт Спас на Крови.
