Ничего себе погодка постпраздничная разошлась! Вьюжит за окном со страшной силой, даже затворы дамбы закрыли... Надо быстрее уже чучело Зимы сжечь! А пока, в такую погоду, тёплый плед, кофе и хорошие книги с фильмами в помощь!
Хотя праздники есть и сегодня: Масленичные золовкины посиделки, Всемирный день ди-джея, День нестандартно мыслящих людей и День выметания скверных мыслей у чудиков.
В народном календаре: Иванов день, в честь дня обретения главы Иоанна Предтечи. Молятся святому об избавлении от головной боли и просят о здоровье детей, о защите посевов, о плодородии. Считается, что птицы начинают строить гнезда, а люди, помогая им, поправляют старые и делают новые скворечники. Про погоду говорили: «Если день по снегу, то и в апреле по снегу, а коли по голу, то и в апреле по тому». Снег на Обретение говорил и о том, что Пасха будет холодной.
История сохранила для этого дня следующие события: в 1697 начало «Великого посольства» - дипломатической миссии правителя Русского царства Петра I Алексеевича в Европу, в 1797 в Санкт-Петербурге заложен Михайловский замок, в 1822 получен патент на искусственные зубы, в 1858 запатентован уличный почтовый ящик, в 1917 в Петрограде начались столкновения демонстрантов с полицией, у демонстрантов лозунги: «Долой самодержавие!», «Долой войну!», в 1937 Московский телецентр на Шаболовке осуществил первую в СССР опытную передачу электронного телевидения в эфир, в 1953 в Москве на похоронах И. В. Сталина в результате давки погибли сотни людей, которые пришли проститься с «вождём народов», в 1959 в Нью-Йорке на ярмарке игрушек продемонстрирована новинка — кукла по имени Барби, а в 1968 Боб Дилан возглавил британский чарт с альбомом «John Wesley Harding».
