С новым днём, народ! С новым кофе!
Дождик всё-таки дошел до Кронштадта (хоть и недолгий, но знатный), пролился над островом, сбив духоту и подарив свежесть. А еще свой запах... Думаете дожди не пахнут? Пахнут, еще как! Летние благоухают свежескошенной травой, умытой листвой и напоёнными влагой цветами. Очень люблю эти ароматы, да и сам дождь, который был у нас вместе с солнцем, а значит грибной, обожаю. Главное, чтоб он знал меру. В общем, сейчас на нашем острове свежо, тепло и вкусно))).
А теперь на очереди праздники. Сегодня отмечают: Международный день левшей, День коллекционера, День встреч, Заговенье на Успенский пост у православных христиан и День шумящих ракушек у чудиков. (Пару лет назад, вспомнила детство и ракушку, в которой можно было слышать море, а через недельку приехали друзья с югов и не сговариваясь привезли сразу несколько таких ракушек! Так что напишу вам кофейную историю и пойду слушать море - ракушки-то у меня есть!).
В народном календаре: Евдокимов день, в честь праведного Евдокима Каппадокиянина, жившего в 9 веке в Малой Азии.
История выбрала для этого дня следующие события: в 1850 российским мореплавателем Геннадием Невельским основано первое на Амуре военно-административное поселение — Николаевский пост — первое строение города Николаевск-на-Амуре, в 1859 улицы и мосты Петербурга (включая Невский проспект и другие важнейшие магистрали) впервые освещены газовыми фонарями, в 1899 Уильям Грей запатентовал телефон-автомат, в 1914 в России введена военная цензура, в 1920 начало битвы Красной Армии за Варшаву, известной также как «Чудо на Висле», в 1928 в Лондоне в эфир вышла первая в мире цветная телепередача, в 1932 в Риме Маркони провёл первое испытание коротковолнового радио, в 1941 румыно-немецкие войска вышли к Чёрному морю восточнее Одессы и полностью блокировали город с суши, также фашисты заняли оба берега Нарвы, корабли Чудской военной флотилии были затоплены у истока реки, в 1943 началась Донбасская наступательная операция, в 1961 начато сооружение Берлинской стены, в 1990 президент СССР М. С. Горбачёв подписал указ «О восстановлении прав всех жертв политических репрессий 20-50-х годов», а в 2007 произошла авария поезда «Невский экспресс» сообщением Москва — Санкт-Петербург в районе Малой Вишеры, из-за подрыва на путях самодельного взрывного устройства.
Родились в этот день: писатель и философ, князь Владимир Одоевский, основоположник физиологии труда Иван Сеченов, писатель, автор мемуаров о гражданской войне и о русской эмиграции Роман Гуль, режиссёр Альфред Хичкок, Фидель Кастро, актёр Андрей Соколов и актёр Андрей Федорцов.
