Ах, как напоследок лето расщедрилось! Какую погоду нам подарило! Даже в июле такие дни не так часто встречались, а тут: "Держите, радуйтесь, вспоминайте меня чаще добрым словом и до новых встреч!" Спасибо дорогое, спасибо родное, мы тебя и так не забудем, ты нам столько замечательных встреч, волшебных дней и радостных минуток подарило! Возвращайся быстрее! Девять месяцев быстро промелькнут... Ждем тебя!
И отмечаем праздники дня: Празднование в честь обретения мощей преподобного Иова Почаевского у православных христиан, День обмена идеями и у чудиков День разноцветных букетов.
В народном календаре: Анна и Савва Скирдники, в честь сразу двух святых - Анны Пророчицы и Саввы Крыпецкого. Завершалась последняя жатва хлебов, и снопы складывали в скирды. Устраивались большие ярмарки и праздники, наверное, именно поэтому в этот день молились святым об избавлении от пьянства. А вот свататься не решались - не удачный день для выбора жениха или невесты.

Павел», в 1721 подписан Ништадтский мир, завершивший Великую Северную войну, в 1723 Ботик Петра I, торжественно перевезенный из Москвы в Петербург, установлен на Государевом бастионе Петропавловской крепости, в 1756 учреждён первый русский театр - Императрица Елизавета Петровна издала Указ об учреждении «русского для представления трагедий и комедий театра» в Петербурге, в 1790 торжественно освящён Троицкий собор Александро-Невской лавры, построенный по проекту Ивана Старова, в 1940 в СССР утверждено положение о паспортах, в 1941 Жуков назначен командующим Ленинградским фронтом, и в Ленинградском зоопарке погиб блокадный слон, в 1943 начало Новороссийской операции войск Северо-Кавказского фронта и Черноморского флота, и советские войска освободили Мариуполь, в 1961 торжественный пуск Волжской ГЭС имени XXII съезда КПСС, в 1964 Род Стюарт записал свой первый сингл «Good Morning, Little Schoolgirl», в 1984 открыта уникальность ДНК — «генетические отпечатки», в 1993 состоялась премьера первого эпизода телесериала «Секретные материалы», а в 2006 Алексий II освятил главный православный храм Калининграда — Храм Христа Спасителя.
