#Ассанж и #Сноуден снова заставляют задуматься, что западные государственные машины могут оказаться ничем не лучше восточных. Конечно колоссальную разницу в удобстве и качестве жизни, например, между Санкт-Петербургом и Финляндией, оспорить трудно, но думать, что "КГБ/ФСБ есть зло так как борется за узурпаторов власти против своего народа, а ФБР есть добро, так как борется за свой народ", значит прибывать в иллюзии. И каждый, кто знаком с околопиратским движением знает, что методы крупных корпораций в экономике вполне ГУЛАГовские, и ничего удивительного в том, что они так хорошо спелись с государственными машинами, нет. Печально.
По известному анекдоту мечта правительств всех стран превратить компьютер в телевизор с программой интернета на завтра. Сейчас, когда две-три социальных сети, парочка энциклопедий и пара-тройка поисковиков охватывают и несколько средств обмена сообщениями охватывают практически всю аудиторию интернета практически в каждой стране, становится понятным, что этот анекдот не так далек от осуществления - сделать десяток крупных долгоживущих ресурсов дружественными государственным структурам проще, чем несколько тысяч мелких, постоянно появляющихся и исчезающих, как это было на заре развития Всемирной Паутины.
Только свобода, свобода информации и открытость, как государственных так и частных структур, в купе с законодательным ограничением на долю аудитории, может спасти интернет от естественного порока бесконтрольного развития рынка, делающего капитализм неотличимым от совкового коммунизма - монополизации.
