Очень любопытный трек от Black Eyed Peas, который можно охарактеризовать как "машина времени трушного хип-хапа": парни решили вернуться к своему первоначальному звучанию и виду (думаю, большинство и не знает, что они начинали втроем b без Fergie) и скомпелировали в этом треки сэмплы из известных олдскульных треков + напомнили всем об оригинальных обложках альбомов.
Я в этом мало понимаю, но какие-то вещи понятны и мне, а вот лагерь олдскула разделился: кто-то считает, что они крутые, что напоминают об истоках, а кто-то считают, что их место в продажном шоу-бизнесе (куда они ушли из анерграунда).
По мне так - Will.i.am просто один из самых крутых муз.мэйкеров современности, который знает, что нужно здесь и сейчас народу и задает тренд. И, вообще, парни сделали реально крутую по своему концепту вещь.
И "yesterday" в секунду превращается в "future"...

A very interesting track from Black Eyed Peas, which can be described as a “hip hip-hop time machine”: the guys decided to return to their original sound and appearance (I think most people don’t know what they started three together b without Fergie) and compiled it tracks samples from famous old school tracks + reminded everyone of the original album covers.
I don’t understand much about this, but some things are clear to me too, but the old school’s camp is divided: someone thinks they are cool, reminiscent of the origins, and someone believes that their place is in the selling show business ( where they left the underground).
For me it’s so - Will.i.am is just one of the coolest music makers of our time, who knows what the people need here and now and sets the trend. And, in general, the guys did a really cool thing in their concept.
