"Многие зрители заведомо негативно воспринимают мюзиклы, и при всем великолепии некоторых из них, трудно переубедить тех, кто закрывает руками глазами и уши, только бы не пробовать что-то новое и менять свое восприятие. В прошлом году шаг в сторону перемен сделал шедевральный «Ла-Ла Лэнд», а теперь и «The greatest showman» доказывает, что песни и танцы в кино могут быть важным, если не основным, элементом повествования — если очень постараться, самой собой."
