Сегодня представили новый дизайн Вконтакте: https://vc.ru/p/vk-redesign-start (странный выбор даты для объявления, но на шутку не похоже).
Я рад, что они пошли самым здоровым и очевидным путём, который полтора года назад предлагал и я (не зря же он был очевидным). Текст стал крупнее, интерфейс чище, даже выкинуть «мои мои мои мои мои» из левого меню надо было давно. Это хорошие изменения.
Иногда дизайнеры увлекаются и «делают дизайн» вместо того, чтобы делать вещи лучше. В 2014 я поставил себе задачу «выключить дизайнера» и пока некоторые рисовали новые иконочки и играли с цветами, я тупо сделал всё крупнее и удобнее, сохраняя преемственность везде, где это было можно. Это я считаю дизайном.
Забавно, сколько у нас с ребятами одинаковых попаданий: от новой страницы сообщений с двумя колонками и расположения фильтров справа от колонки новостей, до мелочей, типа верхней однотонной синей полоски на всю ширину окна с тёмной полоской поиска или двух поисков в Сообщениях (меня тогда немного бесила эта деталь, но не было времени улучшить).
Я вовсе не думаю, что кто-то нарочно подсматривал, просто радуюсь, что кое о чём мы думали одинаково :–)

I am glad that they went the healthiest and most obvious way that I proposed one and a half years ago (it was not for nothing that it was obvious). The text has become larger, the interface is cleaner, I even had to throw “my mine mine mine” from the left menu for a long time. These are good changes.
Sometimes designers get carried away and “make design” instead of doing things better. In 2014, I set myself the task of "turning off the designer" and while some drew new icons and played with flowers, I stupidly made everything bigger and more convenient, maintaining continuity wherever possible. This I consider design.
It's funny how much the guys and I have the same hits: from the new page of messages with two columns and the location of the filters to the right of the news column, to the little things like the top plain blue stripe over the entire width of the window with a dark search bar or two searches in Messages (then I’m a bit infuriated this detail, but there was no time to improve).
I don’t think at all that someone deliberately spied, I’m just glad that we thought about the same thing :–)
