«Всевышний определяет шаги человека».
Каждый еврей обладает в своей жизни духовным предназначением, заключающимся в занятии строительством жилища Ему, Благословенному. И каждый, каким бы он ни был и в каком бы месте ни находился, обязан изо всех сил разыскивать какой-нибудь духовный заработок, подобно тому, как ищет заработок материальный.
И это потому, что «пути Его — Святого, благословен Он, — возжелает». Как написано про Авраама: «...потому что узнал я его... и будут соблюдать путь Всевышнего». Ибо существует два пути: естественный и сверхъестественный. Святой, благословен Он, сотворил мир таким, чтобы материальным зрением мы видели в нем естественные, природные закономерности, и это «Путь Элоким». Тора и заповеди — «Путь Всевышнего», и это — привлечение того, что выше природы, в саму природу мира, за что Всевышний дает евреям то, что выше природы — внутрь природы.

The Holy One, blessed by He, created the world in such a way that with material sight we can see in it natural, natural laws, and this is the “Elokim Way”. The Torah and the commandments are the “Way of the Almighty,” and this is the attraction of that which is higher than nature into the very nature of the world, for which the Almighty gives the Jews that which is higher than nature - into nature.
