Сказал Ребе Шолом-Дов-Бер:
— Хасидизм изменяет реальность и раскрывает суть, а суть еврея невозможно измерить или оценить, поскольку он — часть от Сущности [Всевышнего]. А «держащийся за часть [сущности] — как будто держится за всю [нее]». И как у Сущности нет размера, так у части [ее] размера нет. Подобно тому, как [у цицис1 кисти которых должны быть сделаны из того же материала, что и] «крыло»2 [цицис]. [Она — душа является творением] не более чем [в том смысле, что] Сущности [Всевышнего] «создать» душу [так,] чтобы она была «творением», а хасидус — раскрывает [заключенную в этой форме существования души] Сущность.
1 (здесь:) Четырехугольная одежда, которая, согласно заповеди, должна быть обеспечена особыми кистями на своих углах.
2 Т.е. угол четырехугольной одежды, на который крепится кисть — «канаф».

And “holding onto a part [of an entity] - as if holding onto a whole [it]”. And just as the Essence has no size, so part of [its] has no size. Just as [in cicis1 the brushes of which should be made of the same material as] the “wing” 2 [cicis]. [She - the soul is a creation] is nothing more than [in the sense that] the Essences of [the Almighty] “create” the soul [so that] it is a “creation”, and the Hasidus reveals the [Essence contained in this form of the existence of the soul].
