Чтобы выполнить заповедь сукки во всей ее полноте, нужно не только построить сукку, не только сидеть в ней, но «знать», как связана эта мицва с Исходом из Египта. Можно прочесть о том в книгах, услышать из уст мудрецов, но главное - начать размышлять об этом самому, сосредоточенно, связав с этим и разум, и сердце.
Исход - это не только расставание с царством фараона. Это также освобождение Б-жественной души, заключенной внутри тела. Душа при этом не должна покидать наш мир. Чтобы почувствовать истинную свободу, еврей начинает заниматься Торой и принимает на себя ярмо Небес.
Наш Египет - это привычные жизненные рамки, в которых мы существуем. Собственно, мы их сами же и создали, приспособив к своему месту в обществе и к жизненным целям.
Чаще всего «личный Египет» мешает двум вещам: учить Тору и молиться. Нужно знать и помнить: независимо от своей специальности и проблем, связанных с нею, каждый еврей должен отвести для Торы постоянное место в своем дневном распорядке. А молиться нужно как следует, для души, а не для отчета.
После выхода из Египта было рассечение моря. Так бывает и поныне. Как только еврей собрался служить Творцу, со всех сторон его окружают серьезные проблемы и препятствия. Как тогда: сзади враг, впереди море, и кругом пустыня.
Море расступилось по приказу Свыше. Чтобы это случилось, нужно, чтобы хоть один еврей, жертвуя всем, шагнул в бурлящие волны, как сделал это в ту пору Нахшон бен-Аминадав. Поскольку все души евреев неразрывно связаны, подвиг одного может выручить многих.
Тогда Всевышний проложит среди волн тропинки, тогда для каждого еврея Он приготовит сукку. Еврей в сукке похож на младенца, который только-только появился на свет. Б-жественный свет, привлеченный суккой, смывает с него приставшую грязь и «пеленает» его, как поступают с новорожденным. Пеленка не только защищает ребенка от холода, но и выпрямляет, ставит как надо его ручки и ножки. Это первое пеленание поможет ему даже когда он сделается совсем взрослым человеком. Всевышний «пеленает» нас светом сукки в начале каждого года. Цель та же - помочь каждому еврею избавиться от внутренней кривизны, чтобы жить счастливо, выполняя заповеди Торы.
Если говорить на языке хасидута, сукка притягивает к себе «Ор макиф», Окружающий Свет. Когда еврей сидит в сукке, ест, пьет, учится, беседует с друзьями, то «макиф» переходит в «мемалэ» - делается светом, который наполняет все сосуды души и тела. Благотворный след пеленок Творца мы будем ощущать весь грядущий счастливый год.
Давайте еще раз повторим урок: дорога к счастью лежит через Исход. Еврей должен отбросить «наследство Египта» - грубую материальность, грязные привычки своей животной души. И нужно, чтобы это «знали потомки ваши во всех поколениях...»

To fulfill the commandment of the sukkah in its entirety, it is necessary not only to build a sukkah, not only to sit in it, but to “know” how this mitzvah is connected with the Exodus from Egypt. Exodus is not only parting with the kingdom of Pharaoh. It is also the liberation of the Divine soul enclosed within the body. The soul should not leave our world. To feel true freedom, a Jew begins to engage in Torah and takes upon himself the yoke of Heaven.
Our Egypt is a familiar framework of life in which we exist. Actually, we ourselves created them by adapting them to our place in society and to life goals.
Most often, “personal Egypt” interferes with two things: to teach the Torah and pray. You need to know and remember: regardless of their specialty and the problems associated with it, every Jew should have a permanent place for the Torah in his daily routine. And you need to pray properly, for the soul, and not for the report.
After leaving Egypt there was a section of the sea. This happens to this day. As soon as the Jew was about to serve the Creator, serious problems and obstacles surround him from all sides. As then: behind the enemy, in front of the sea, and around the desert.
The sea parted by order from Above. For this to happen, it is necessary that at least one Jew, sacrificing everything, step into the seething waves, as Nakhshon ben-Aminadav did at that time. Since all the souls of Jews are inextricably linked, the exploit of one can help many.
Then the Almighty will lay paths among the waves, then for every Jew He will prepare a sukkah. A Jew in Sukkah is like a baby who has just been born. Divine light attracted by a succa washes away adhering dirt from it and “swaddles” it, as they do with a newborn. The diaper not only protects the child from the cold, but also straightens, puts his arms and legs as it should. This first swaddling will help him even when he becomes an adult. The Almighty “swaddles” us with the light of a sukkah at the beginning of each year. The goal is the same - to help every Jew get rid of the internal curvature in order to live happily, fulfilling the commandments of the Torah.
Speaking in the language of Hasidut, Sukkah attracts the “Ohr makif”, the Ambient Light. When a Jew sits in Sukkah, eats, drinks, studies, talks with friends, then the “Makif” turns into “memale” - becomes light that fills all the vessels of the soul and body. The beneficial trail of the diapers of the Creator, we will feel the whole coming happy year.
Let's repeat the lesson again: the road to happiness lies through the Exodus. A Jew must cast aside the "inheritance of Egypt" - gross materiality, dirty habits of his animal soul. And it is necessary that "your descendants in all generations know ..."
