Тем временем, наш с Тимофеем первый учебный год совершенно неожиданно подошел к своему логическому завершению. Год этот получился непростым, но очень продуктивным, динамичным и интересным! Несмотря на то, что нервов, сил и времени было потрачено на несколько десятилетий вперед и седых волос у меня прибавилось, я уверена - мы на правильном пути.
Год назад, пакуя чемоданы, я ругала себя за то, что лишаю ребенка чего-то очень важного и нужного (а по факту привычного и знакомого лично мне). Казалось, пропустив выпускной в детском саду, первое сентября первого класса, все эти огромные банты, еще более огромные букеты, торжественную линейку и первый звонок, Тим недополучит эмоций, впечатлений, мотивации… Рада признать, что ошибалась!
Потом были долгие и мучительные поиски школы, ибо уровень английского: “Hello! My name is Tim. I’m from Russia”, не удовлетворял никаким, даже самым демократичным, требованиям. Смогли. Выучили. Поступили.
Сегодня же, спустя девять месяцев, я вижу перед собой счастливого, здорового и очень повзрослевшего молодого человека. Тим свободно общается на английском. Да, не без ошибок, но главное, он не боится ошибаться, потому что не боится быть непонятым или высмеянным. У него много друзей и увлечений и он каждый день с удовольствием идет в школу.
А еще, Тим был признан лучшим учеником класса и удостоен чести пойти на ланч с директором))) и награжден грамотой за академические успехи!
Я редко это говорю, но я горжусь своим сыном!
Кстати, экзамены за первый класс родной российской школы мы тоже сдали. Экстерном!!!

A year ago, while packing my suitcases, I scolded myself for depriving the child of something very important and necessary (but in fact familiar and familiar to me personally). It seemed that having missed the graduation in kindergarten, the first of September of the first class, all these huge bows, even more huge bouquets, a solemn ruler and the first bell, Tim would not receive any emotions, impressions, motivation ... I'm glad to admit that she was wrong!
Then there was a long and painful search for the school, for the level of English: “Hello! My name is Tim. I’m from Russia ”, did not satisfy any, even the most democratic, requirements. Could. Learned. Received.
Today, nine months later, I see a happy, healthy and very matured young man in front of me. Tim is fluent in English. Yes, not without mistakes, but most importantly, he is not afraid to make mistakes, because he is not afraid to be misunderstood or ridiculed. He has many friends and hobbies and every day he goes to school with pleasure.
And yet, Tim was recognized as the best student in the class and was honored to go to lunch with the director))) and was awarded a diploma for academic success!
I rarely say that, but I'm proud of my son!
By the way, we also passed the exams for the first grade of our native Russian school. Externally !!!
