Всем известно, что субкультурщики громче всех объявляют себя свободными от навязанных стереотипов, но вместе с тем внутри почти любой субкультурной среды стоит непролазный мрак из стереотипов собственных. Оторванных, в свою очередь, уже от реальности. Когда субкультура политизирована и начинает излагать своё видение общества, это чаще всего ужасает. Субкультурщики считают, что живут правильно, а другие люди — неправильно, потому что находятся в плену стереотипов. Мовчан пишет, что 80% населения неправильно поддержали воссоединение Крыма с Россией, потому что живёт по законам примитивной группы, а потом удивляется, что его никто не слушает. «Скажи мне, толстый лысый старикашка, почему у меня нет друзей?»
Почему такое происходит? Думаю, основная трагедия советской и постсоветской интеллигенции заключается в неверном осознании своей роли в обществе. Люди почему-то считают, что они «врачи», причём сфера их деятельности распространяется лишь на выставление диагнозов. «Россия, ты одурела». «Россия, лечись». «Примитивная группа». «Известный психиатр очень точно описывает 150 миллионов русских». При этом самих себя люди считают абсолютно здоровыми и на этом основании занимают позицию совершеннейшего превосходства над остальными. «Доктор сказал, в морг — значит, в морг». И полагают, что относиться к их словам нужно как к предписаниям врачей: слушаться и не спорить».

At the same time, people consider themselves to be completely healthy and on this basis they occupy the position of the most perfect superiority over the others.
