На Хэллоуин в Америке дети ходят по домам соседей в костюмах и собирают конфеты. В магазинах заранее продаются мешки с разными конфетами и полагается угощать всех детей, которые постучат в дверь. Для детей это своего рода 'охота' и повод похвастаться, ну и просто с'ест конфеты. На шоу Jimmy Kimmel уже который год разыгрывают детей- родители на утро после Хэллоуина говорят своим чадам что с'ели все их конфеты и реакция детей снимается на видео.

On Halloween in America, children go to the houses of their neighbors in costumes and collect candies. In stores, bags with different sweets are sold in advance and is supposed to treat all the children who knock on the door. For children, this is a kind of “hunt” and an occasion to boast, well, just s'est candy.
