Заметки путешественника. Часть 2, с дополнениями и уточнениями))
7. Такси. Их работа заслуживает отдельного внимания! Ну, то, что оплата по счётчику, это понятно и никого этим не удивишь!)) Ночной тариф, кстати, немного дороже дневного. У нас наоборот. Так при этом счётчики имеют 2 режима - hired и waiting, деньги щёлкают и там, и там, но в первом случае расчет покилометровый, а во втором - по времени. Так что дирхамы капают и на светофоре, и в пробке (хоть их и не так много), и когда несёшься 110 км/ч! Теперь парк такси. Страна шейхов, поэтому в качестве такси у них ездят только Nissan Tiana, Toyota Camry и иногда встречается Ford Mondeo (по-моему). Там действуют 5 таксомоторных компаний, и внешне их машины заметно отличаются цветом крыши и стоек (красный, зелёный, синий, оранжевый и жёлтый). Причем цвет погон и галстука водителя такси совпадает с цветом крыши автомобиля! Дрес-код! Теперь что ещё понравилось - в торговых центрах есть специальная служба, регулирующая посадку и высадку пассажиров из такси. К моллам такси могут подъехать для высадки к любому из входов, а вот посадка из молла осуществляется в специальном месте, как правило, где-то на подземном уровне. Уезжая из торгового центра, поймать такси в другом месте даже не получится - проверено на себе)) Во-первых, сами таксисты шарахаются от тебя, а во-вторых специально обученный люди не позволяют тебе этого сделать. Для посадки в моллах организованы специальные зоны, где народ ждёт такси В ОЧЕРЕДИ!!! В общем, нефтяной социализм)) Очереди могут быть разные, мы как-то уезжали из такого центра около 11 вечера, так очередь была человек в 200-250! Сами такси ходят так с завидной регулярностью, поэтому даже такую сумасшедшую очередь мы прошли за минут 10!
8. Дороги. Гладкость дорог не вызывает сомнения, это понятно. Что удивило - стены во всех тоннелях украшают какие-либо узоры, национальные флаги и прочие вещи, выложенные плиткой! Получается эдакая мозаика! И это во всех тоннелях на всех стенах не зависимо от длины, высоты и сложности рисунка! На шоссе встречные полосы разделяют не только 2-метровая ограда, чтобы люди не перебегали, но также естественное ограждение - каменные валуны, чтобы машины не вылетали на встречку.
9. Аэропорт Дубая. Это нереально огромное сооружение с собственным водопадом, огромными лифтами, кабина которых имеет 2 пары дверей с одной стороны (типа как вагон), но с очень маленьким числом указателей, особенно на сканер глаз, на поиски которого мы потратили полчаса! Сканирование глаз - такая интересная процедура не для всех туристов, а для особо отличившихся, которые прилетели из стран, с которыми у Эмиратов нет особого договора. Бедные китайцы и японцы - т.к. сканируется вся радужная оболочка глаза полностью, им пришлось вручную расширять себе глаза))) Зрелище, конечно, веселое, что несколько скрашивает стояние в этой очереди по половому признаку (мужчины - отдельно, женщины - отдельно). Опять же, что интересно, мужская очередь движется раз в 5 быстрее женской)) Аэропорт огромный, но имеет всего 2 полосы для взлёта-посадки. Поэтому у них принято решение рядом с морским портом в пустыне построить новый аэропорт на 5 полос!

Вообще, строек у них там много, всё время достраивают небоскрёбы, насыпные острова (в проекте ещё 2 насыпные "пальмы" - в дополнение к имеющейся Пальме Джумейра, и своего рода архипелаг маленьких островов Мир (The World), представляющих собой в плане скопления островов как континенты на карте), дорожные развязки и прочее. Как нам сказали, 30% всей строительной техники мира сосредоточено в Эмиратах! Жильё у них там при этом не сильно дорогое, так например, снимать однушку не в центре Дубая будет стоить порядка 1000$ за месяц!

Moreover, the color of the epaulette and tie of the taxi driver coincides with the color of the roof of the car! Dress code! Now what else I liked - in shopping centers there is a special service that regulates the boarding and disembarking of passengers from taxis. Taxis can drive to malls for disembarkation at any of the entrances, but landing from the mall is carried out in a special place, usually somewhere on the underground level. Leaving a shopping center, you can’t even get a taxi in another place - it’s checked by yourself)) First, taxi drivers themselves shy away from you, and secondly, specially trained people do not allow you to do this. For landing in the malls, special zones are organized where people are waiting for a taxi QUEUE !!! In general, oil socialism)) The lines may be different, we somehow left such a center at about 11 pm, so there was a line at about 200-250 people! Taxis themselves run like this with enviable regularity, so even we went through such a crazy queue in 10 minutes!
8. Roads. The smoothness of the roads is beyond doubt, this is understandable. What surprised - the walls in all the tunnels are decorated with any patterns, national flags and other things tiled! It turns out a kind of mosaic! And this is in all tunnels on all walls regardless of the length, height and complexity of the picture! On the highway, oncoming lanes are divided not only by a 2-meter fence so that people do not run across, but also by a natural fence - stone boulders so that cars do not fly out into the oncoming lane.

This is an incredibly huge building with its own waterfall, huge elevators, the cabin of which has 2 pairs of doors on one side (such as a carriage), but with a very small number of pointers, especially to the eye scanner, which we spent half an hour searching for! Eye scanning is not such an interesting procedure for all tourists, but for especially distinguished ones who have arrived from countries with which the Emirates do not have a special agreement. Poor Chinese and Japanese - because the entire iris of the eye is scanned completely, they had to manually expand their eyes))) The spectacle, of course, is fun, which somewhat brightens up standing in this queue by gender (men - separately, women - separately). Again, interestingly, the male line moves 5 times faster than the female line)) The airport is huge, but has only 2 lanes for take-off and landing. Therefore, they decided to build a new airport with 5 lanes near the seaport in the desert!

As we were told, 30% of all construction equipment in the world is concentrated in the Emirates! Their housing there is not very expensive, so for example, renting odnushka not in the center of Dubai will cost about $ 1000 per month!
