Варанаси, январь 2019 г. Мировые фото! Слева на фотографии табламэйкер, на его инструментах играю все несколько лет обучения игре на инструменте. На заднем плане большая команда ребят, помогающих ему в этом деле, а также единственный в Варанаси специалист по изготовлению корпусов Байя (басовый барабан под левую руку). К слову сказать, это искусство передается по наследству. Справа на фото – мой Учитель по табла, на протяжении более 40 лет сотрудничающий с этими ребятами. Примечательно было услышать отзыв об этой мастерской одного музыканта, заехавшего взять несколько предметов для изготовления табла: «This is crazy, here you can buy one of the best tabla in the world, and we can find this small place in the labyrinth of streets in Varanasi»…
