New York. День 2. Часть 1. Утро затянулось - долго одуплялся после 1,5 суток без сна. Выяснил почему у меня нет инета - в Нью-Йорке нет 3g. Только 2/2,5g и 4g.
Поэтому, Если ваш телефон не поддерживает местные частоты 4g задумайтесь как выходить из ситуации, т. к. местная симка, телефон с инетом и Гугл карты становятся очень удобным помощником.
Еще немного про метро - тут есть бесплатный и открытый wi-fi, как в Москве, и он был быстрым, но не на всех станциях и только на подземных. Полезно, что между вагонами поезда можно передвигаться, как в наших электричках. Здесь это не запрещено. Все станции однообразные - никаких красит, все чисто утилитарно. Ну подземные-то точно, а вот надземные окружающим пейзажи разнообразятся. Эскалаторы узкие - только на 1 человека. Лестницы в метро - на двоих рассчитаны. Кстати, не везде цена на билет одинаковая. Например, На брайтон бич она выше - 2,75$. И станция тут трехэтажная - NY Aquarium. Кстати, бомжи... Они везде. Во всех районах города и, наверное, страны. Т. к. и в ЛА их много было. Вот я еду от брайтон бич в сторону центрального парка, находясь еще над землей, заходит сей свободный человек и ложится на стоящую передо мной пустую лавку, укрывшись своим пальто. Но что хочу заметить. Они тихие и даже неплохо одетые! Без откровенного рванья.
Еще немного про почту и все службы доставки. Работают хорошо, быстро, но если не лезет в ящик и/или тебя нет дома, то будут вот так валяться, как на фото в коридоре. А эти коробки человеку с 3го этажа...
