Стук колёс. За окнами - лес. В вагоне тепло. Приятно возвращаться домой.
Эту поездку я запомню навсегда. Такой плотности происшествий со мной давно на случалось. Поезд 107 / 108 до Санкт-Петербурга опаздал в Пензу на час. В вагоне на своём месте обнаружил забытый дешевый билайнофон.
За прошедшую неделю познакомился с многими хорошими людьми, увидел разную жизнь городов Поволжья. Пензу можно обозначить эпитетом "город исторической толерантности". На вокзале в 10 метрах - православный храм и бюст Ленина. На холме восстанавливают кафедральный собор, рядом памятник павшим в борьбе за дело пролетариата. Вообще этот город оказал сильное влияние на историю России: в Пензе познакомились родители Владимира Ульянова (Ленина), в Пензу нередко ссылали политически преследуемых и там рождались многие революционные организации, а также в Пензенском краю родился и вырос будущий историк В.О. Ключевский. Есть в городе музей Ключевского - реконструкция быта и подборка книг, выписок и фотографий - музей небольшой, но уютный и интересный. Зачитываюсь сейчас сборником: "Культурное наследие В.О. Ключевского в контексте современной модернизации России".
В Пензе весьма компактный, но красивый центр. Огромное спасибо +Oleg Belyakov за экскурсию, интересный рассказ про город и за тёплый прием. Времени было достаточно, чтобы погулять по городу, зайти в зоопарк, в краеведческий музей. Зоопарк не очень богатый, но еноты и тигрица очень милые :)
Город расположен на семи холмах, перепад высот очень значительный. Улица Московская практически полностью пешеходная, днём превращается в картинную галерею и место выступления гитаристов (совершенно уникальные попадались, просто заслушался). Рядом - улица Пушкина и сквер пословиц и сказок - из травы, лозы и камня представлены сюжеты и персонажи народных сказок. Рядом - здание администрации области (а за ним - танки!). Весь центр быстрым шагом можно обойти меньше чем за час.
Проживал в гостинице ПГУ, принимают гостей за 550р/сутки, есть кухня, в номере - холодильник (!), в боксе на два номера - душ и санузел.
Недельное путешествие подошло к концу, завтра утром возвращаюсь в Петербург.

I will remember this trip forever. Such a density of incidents has long happened to me. Train 107/108 to St. Petersburg was an hour late in Penza. In the carriage in its place I found a forgotten cheap beeline.

At the station 10 meters away is an Orthodox church and a bust of Lenin. The cathedral is being restored on the hill, next to it is a monument to the fallen in the struggle for the cause of the proletariat. In general, this city had a strong influence on the history of Russia: the parents of Vladimir Ulyanov (Lenin) met in Penza, politically persecuted were often exiled in Penza and many revolutionary organizations were born there, and the future historian V.O. was born and raised in the Penza region. Klyuchevsky. There is a museum in the city of Klyuchevsky - a reconstruction of everyday life and a selection of books, extracts and photographs - the museum is small, but cozy and interesting. I am now reading it through the collection: "The Cultural Heritage of V.O. Klyuchevsky in the Context of Modern Modernization of Russia."
Penza is a very compact, but beautiful center. Many thanks + Oleg Belyakov for the tour, an interesting story about the city and for the warm welcome. There was enough time to walk around the city, to go to the zoo, to the museum of local lore. The zoo is not very rich, but the raccoons and tigress are very cute :)
The city is located on seven hills, the elevation difference is very significant. Moskovskaya Street is almost completely pedestrian, in the afternoon it turns into an art gallery and a place for guitarists to perform (they were absolutely unique, I just heard it). Nearby - Pushkin Street and the square of proverbs and fairy tales - from grass, vine and stone are presented plots and characters of folk tales. Nearby is the regional administration building (and tanks behind it!). The whole center can be bypassed in less than an hour.
He lived in a PSU hotel, accept guests for 550 rubles per day, there is a kitchen, in the room there is a refrigerator (!), In the box for two rooms there is a shower and a bathroom.
The week-long journey came to an end, tomorrow morning I’ll return to St. Petersburg.
