Одним словом - ТРЕШ! Впрочем, и других слов много.
Самолёт в #Дели приземлился в ночи, так что в #отель мы не спешили, отправились к метро. #Аэропорт #NewDelhi показался самым понятным из всех, что я видела. На все случаи есть заметные понятные указатели. #Метро мы нашли быстро.
Только вот прибежал какой-то #police #officer и сказал, что сегодня воскресенье. Через пару минут мы поняли, что это же означает, что метро не работает. Дальше все было быстро и насыщенно. Таксист сказал, что не может проехать и отвезти нас в отель, но и не бросит ни за что. Отличить, где помощь, а где вредительство, невозможно. Oк, едем в Government Information Center. Информацию индусы выдают порциями. Там выяснилось, что в отель мы попасть вообще не можем, потому что everything is blocked. Большая часть дорог Дели закрывается на ночь. Security reasons. Ага.
Матерю #booking . Впрочем, спасибо родителям и разнообразным рассказам, паники не было вообще. Скорее пробивало на смех, нездоровый такой. Драйвер все ещё тут, едем в другой отель. Денег вроде жалко, но отпускать нас никто не собирается, пока мы не окажемся в каком-то отеле, а до 12 утра далеко, когда можно будет дойти до нашего отеля и выяснить, какого черта происходит. Едем. Вид улиц вызывает ужас и сострадание. Ощущение, что нас привезли в какое-то гетто. (в будущем нам скажут, что это один из трех самых классных районов Дели). После долгих любопытственных вопросов в нашем новом отеле, что мы делаем в семь утра в городе, нас уложили спать, не дожидаясь никаких check-in time-ов. И то спасибо.
А по звуку ощущение, что спим на улице, при чем в пробке. Выпив на #ночь мятной водки (все по инструкции), спим.
К слову, #экскурсия по всему Дели составила 200 рублей.

Then everything was fast and rich. The taxi driver said he couldn’t drive and take us to the hotel, but he wouldn’t leave us for anything. To distinguish where help is and where wrecking is impossible. Ok, let's go to the Government Information Center. Indians give out information in portions. It turned out that we couldn’t get to the hotel at all, because everything is blocked. Most of Delhi's roads are closed at night. Security reasons. Yeah.
