Первая церковь — это 12 апостолов, которые поверили Учителю. Церковь — это люди. Церковь — это борьба за новых прихожан, расширение паствы и вразумление тех, кто, по ее мнению, заблуждается. Вразумление, но не избиение. В Екатеринбурге церковные служители не попытались переубедить своих оппонентов, они заняли позицию, схожую с атлетами, которые отмутузили защитников сквера. Мы часто говорим о непрофессионализме людей, занимающихся тем или иным делом. Для служителей церкви непрофессионализм - это нравственная глухота. Именно это мы видим в Екатеринбурге.
Церковь там — это не люди, а власть и олигархи. По их проекту и для их целей строится новый храм. Поэтому выбрали место в центре, где и без того было хорошо. Если бы думали о городе и о людях, взяли бы депрессивное место, но надо район побогаче. Ссылки на то, что проект прошел необходимые процедуры — для наивных. Публичные слушания в принятом исполнении заслуживают эпитета «так называемые». Власть оформляет выгодное решение, соблюдая видимость законного порядка.
Конечно, в Екатеринбурге много храмов, но богатому человеку нужен свой собственный. Это современная индульгенция. Если бы полковник Захарченко построил храм, его судьба могла бы сложиться иначе. Власть долго искала национальную идею и остановилась на православных скрепах. В итоге сегодня в России для богатых людей либо крестик на шее, либо наручники на запястье. Захарченко жадным оказался. Или просто не успел вложиться в богоугодное дело.
Не могу представить, чтобы католическая церковь промолчала, если бы на месте предполагаемого строительства храма оппонентов колотили бойцы смутного происхождения. Любой пастор постарался бы остановить занесенную руку. Но ни один православный священник этого не сделал. Имеют ли они право называть себя пастырями?
