"Был вчера на «Мертвых душах» в ШДИ - снесло крышу напором, скоростью и многоуровневым текстом, искрометной игрой и напряженностью постановки, многоплановостью и высоким, порой саркастическим, юмором, актуальностью и историчностью одновременно, самоотдачей актёров и актрис, их талантом и готовностью делиться с публикой!.. Воспринять спектакль во всей его многогранности за один раз вряд ли возможно, стоит сходить ещё и ещё раз для его осмысления и адекватной оценки!.."
"Гоголь занимает особое место в русской культуре. Я люблю его мертвые души и до этого смотрел похождения Чичикова в Фоменко. Это не самый крутой спектакль в ШДИ, но мне понравился. Особенно момент «переговоров» с Коробочкой, в этот момент люди стали покидать зал, мне показалось это забавным. Что за отрицание естества в 21 веке? Стоит вспомнить расположение кругов в воронке, чтобы уйти из театра в связи с другими поступками героев. Были прекрасные русские песни, отличная работа с текстом. Самое главное, что они смогли передать необходимую атмосферу. Мне понравилось больше, чем Фоменковская постановка, хоть она и не такая яркая на костюмы."
