Вчера, когда я сказала, что хочу сходить в Архивный комитет на выставку, посвященную строительству мостов в СПб, я получила в ответ: "Полиночка, ну кто же ходит на выставки, где просто показывают какие-то архивные документы!"
Так вот. Я хожу! И мне нифига не скучно. Смотрите вот, например. О безобразии, творящемся в предвоенном Ленинграде, сообщает не кому-нибудь, а Жданову секретарь обкома, который - упс - не успел на разводку мостов, возвращаясь в 3 часа ночи (sic!) с работы. (Транскрибирую, кому лень читать с фотки.)

Оказывается, указание, данное Вами еще в прошлом году о недопустимости одновременного разведения мостов в центральной части города через Неву, не выполняется. 10 июня мне пришлось возвращаться из Смольного в 3 ч. ночи. Мосты Литейный, Кировский, Строителей, лейтенанта Шмидта и Тучков оказались разведенными. Ни через один них мне не удалось проскочить и пришлось ждать, пока свели Кировский мост. Положение явно недопустимое ни с оборонной точки зрения, ни с точки зрения пожарной охраны и вообще ничем не оправдываемое.
Полагал бы целесообразным принять соответствующее решение секретариата ГК.

It turns out that the instruction that you gave last year about the inadmissibility of simultaneously building bridges in the central part of the city across the Neva River is not being fulfilled. On June 10, I had to return from Smolny at 3 o'clock at night. The bridges of Liteiny, Kirovsky, the Builders, Lieutenant Schmidt and Tuchkov were divorced. I did not manage to slip through one of them and had to wait until the Kirov Bridge was brought down. The situation is clearly unacceptable neither from the defense point of view, nor from the point of view of the fire brigade and not at all justified.
I would consider it appropriate to take the appropriate decision of the secretariat of the GC.
