Сегодня с утра, ощутив тот страх, который вероятно ощущают все, когда слышат в новостях о террористических атаках, подумала, что еще чуть-чуть и «опасность теракта в любой момент» в наших головах впишется в традиционный образ жизни большого города, который шумный, грязный, с пробками, ночной жизнью, толпами людей. Либо живи с мыслью, что «вот эта сумка какая-то подозрительная» про каждую сумку, которую ты видишь на улице, в транспорте, если ее не держат в руках, либо в деревню, в деревню…
Впрочем, это какая-то паника. Вот статья, где пишут в каких городах надо жить, чтобы с большей вероятностью стать жертвой теракта. И, конечно, это не Париж (что не умаляет трагедии, но все же…).
Вчера видела высказывание, что у терроризма нет национальности. И меня оно задело. Если честно, глядя на этот список, хочется сказать, что все-таки есть: в первой 10-ке шесть городов – в Ираке, еще три в Пакистане, оставшийся в Ливии. Я, естественно, имею в виду не то, что каждый араб – урод и террорист, а то, что злобный террорист с высокой степенью вероятности окажется арабом (или точнее... мусульманином?). Мне кажется странным это не учитывать, пытаясь говорить, понимать и предпринимать что-то в этой ситуации. Правда, я в ней все равно ничего не понимаю. А статистика в статье интересная (сорри, что на английском).
Очередной раз порадовалась, что в Фейсбуке есть штука, оповещающая, что у друзей все в порядке, и они в безопасности (заодно внезапно узнала про некоторых, что они, оказывается, в Париже).
Желаю себе и всем не погрязнуть в интернет-истерии, несмотря на то, что этот пост, видимо, является свидетельством обратного. :)

To be honest, looking at this list, I would like to say that there are still: six cities in the first 10, in Iraq, three more in Pakistan, which remained in Libya. Naturally, I do not mean that every Arab is a freak and a terrorist, but that an evil terrorist will with a high degree of probability be an Arab (or more precisely ... a Muslim?). It seems strange to me not to take this into account, trying to say, understand and do something in this situation. True, I still do not understand anything in it. And the statistics in the article is interesting (sorry, that in English).
Once again, I was glad that there was a thing on Facebook informing me that my friends were doing fine and that they were safe (at the same time they suddenly found out about some of them that they happened to be in Paris).
I wish for myself and everyone not to become bogged down with Internet hysteria, despite the fact that this post, apparently, is evidence of the opposite. :)
