Вчера на занятии в рамках разгонной беседы в начале урока спросила, какой праздник мы отмечаем послезавтра. И один из студентов ответил: "Не послезавтра, а завтра?" "Почему завтра?" "Потому что завтра - День матери."
И то правда. Сегодня, 8 мая, в Эстонии День матери. Как пишут в новостях, в честь матерей по всей стране государственные учреждения вывесили эстонские флаги. Также это предлагается сделать всем желающим. В комментариях к этой новости на Фэйсбуке люди пишут, что уже вывесили флаги на своих домах. А рассылка эстонского интернет-магазина напоминает, что самое время подарить букеты своим мамам.
А я вот, признаться, даже не помню, когда День матери у нас, в России. И не помню, чтобы у нас вывешивались флаги хотя бы на 8 марта.

And that is true. Today, May 8, in Estonia is Mother's Day. As they say in the news, in honor of mothers throughout the country, government agencies hung out Estonian flags. Also it is proposed to make everyone. In the comments to this news on Facebook, people write that they have already hung flags on their houses. And sending an Estonian online store reminds you that it's time to give bouquets to your mothers.
But I confess, I do not even remember when Mother's Day is here in Russia. And I do not remember that flags were hung out at least for March 8th.
