Ну вот и пришел новый археологический сезон и вместе с ним я возобновляю полевой дневник. Уже сегодня ночью мы отправляемся в Тверскую область в районе Старой Торопы, где уже третий сезон работает раннеславянская археологическая экспедиция ГИМ во главе со С. А. Стефутиным (http://www.rsae.ru/).
Что нас ждет? Утомительная дорога восьмичасовая дорога на "буханке", дожди, холод, встреча с большой командой геофизиков из лаборатории инженерной геофизики РГУ Нефти и Газа, которые едут ради археологи из Сочи (http://inggeo.gubkin.ru/). Но главное - море современных методов в археологии. Мы собираемся отлетать все на квадрокоптерах для последующей 3D-визуализации, исследовать территорию селища и курганной группы при помощи электротомографии, георадара, b магнитометра. Разбить сетку реперов, привязать все при помощи GPS и продолжить съемку курганной группы и селища при помощи тахеометров (как раз опробуем наш новый б/у тахеометр). Это, согласитесь, план. Надеюсь, что погода не сможет сильно ему помешать.

Well, the new archaeological season has come and with it I resume the field diary.
