В Давосе стартует престижный Международный Экономический Форум (45-й по счету).
Около 1700 частных самолетов завезет на швейцарский курорт "тонны" миллиардеров, их секретарей, экспертов, эскортов, звезд различной величины и т.д. Некоторые участник платят свыше $70 000 за првао участвовавть в конференции.
Какие уж тут туристы. Хотя туристов в Давосе всегда хватало.
Словно предваряя Форум, Швейцарский Центробанк усилил "накал страстей", несколько дней назад отпустив курс швейцарского франка (на вечер 20 января курс франка к евро был на 18% выше, чем до решения Центрбанка).
За 4 дня Форума отели Давоса получают до 30% годовой выручки, местные власти оценивают приток денег в город от мероприятия в 40 млн швейцарских франков.
При этом бронирование отелей на время экономического форума в Давосе возможно только через PublicisLive – event-подразделение рекламного гиганта Publicis, которое с 2006 по 2015 год располагает эксклюзивным контрактом на организацию ВЭФ. Все отели в Давосе и в соседнем Клостерсе в обязательном порядке заключают контракт с PublicisLive, номера в них могут быть забронированы только через агентство и только при наличии регистрации на ВЭФ.
Более 50 представителей мировых СМИ не смогли найти свободные места в Давосе и Клостерсе. Они вынуждены остановиться в Цюрихе и будут ежедневно добираться на форум на поезде (время ув пути – 2 часа 19 минут).
Интересо, что за все годы проведения форума Давос так и не стал фешенебельным курортом, хотя стал престижным. Статус фешенебедьных курортов в Швейцарии стабильно «приписан» Санкт-Морицу и Церматту. В Давосе большинство отелей – категории 3* и 4*. Для VIP-гостей год назад на окраине городка открлыся Intercontinental Davos Hotel 5*, стоимость номера в нем начинается от 950 франков (в низкий сезон). Новый отель увеличил объем номеров категории 5* на 216, но даже после этого таких номеров в городе стало всего 400.
Интересно, что компанияStilli Park AG – оператор Intercontinental Davos – всего через полгода после открытия отеля начала процедуру банкротства, так как люксовый отель не востребован у обычных туристов.
