Я никогда серьёзно не относилась к комиксам.
Это ведь для детей, разве там может быть что-то интересное?
Но вот читаю комикс "Хранители" Алана Мура и Дейва Гиббонса. Всем, кто сомневается - читайте! Это очень-очень круто. Ну и да, ограничение по возрасту 18+.
Выдержка из описания сюжета: Альтернативная реальность. 1985-й год. Президентом США все еще является Никсон и Холодная война все так же актуальна. Восемь лет назад супергерои были объявлены вне закона. Теперь они живут как обычные люди, хотя прежние годы регулярно дают о себе знать. И вот один из них жестоко убит. Люди, убравшие свои разноцветные костюмы в шкафы, не стали бы этим интересоваться, если бы не настойчивость единственного, кто не сдался семь лет назад, - Роршаха. На дворе самый разгар Холодной войны, у его бывших коллег разные профессии и взгляды на мир, а Роршах уверен, что все они оказались в эпицентре злодейского заговора.
"...Утром: труп собаки в переулке, на раздавленном брюхе след покрышки. Этот город меня боится. Я видел его истинное лицо. Улицы - его кишечник, булькающий кровью. Когда-нибудь она свернется и тогда местным глистам придет конец. Вся грязь, накопившаяся от их случек и грызни, вспенится, поднимется им по грудь, и тогда все эти шлюхи и политиканы запрокинут головы и завопят: "Спаси" А я шепну им сверху: "Нет".
"...Дневник Роршаха. 13 октября 1985 года. 23 30. В пятницу вечером в Нью-Йорке умер комедиант. Кто-то вышвырнул его из окна. Когда он грохнулся на тротуар, его голову вбило в плечи. До самого живота. И всем плевать. Всем, кроме меня.."

But here I read the comic book "Keepers" by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. To everyone who doubts - read! This is very, very cool. Well and yes, the age limit is 18+.
Excerpt from the description of the plot: Alternative reality. 1985 year. Nixon is still the president of the United States, and the Cold War is still relevant. Eight years ago, superheroes were outlawed. Now they live like ordinary people, although previous years regularly make themselves felt. And one of them was brutally murdered. People who put their colorful costumes in their closets would not be interested in this if it were not for the persistence of the only one who had not given up seven years ago - Rorschach. In the courtyard is the height of the Cold War, his former colleagues have different professions and views on the world, and Rorschach is sure that they were all at the epicenter of the villainous conspiracy.
"... In the morning: the corpse of a dog in the alley, on the crushed belly a trace of a tire. This city is afraid of me. I saw its true face. The streets are its intestines gurgling with blood. Someday it will curl up and then local worms will come to an end. All the dirt , accumulated from their little cases and squabbles, foams, rises to their breasts, and then all these whores and politicians will throw their heads back and scream: "Save" And I whisper to them from above: "No."
"... Rorschach's diary. October 13, 1985. 23 30. A comedian died on Friday night in New York. Someone threw him out of the window. When he crashed onto the sidewalk, his head was hammered into his shoulders. Until his stomach. And nobody cares. Everyone except me .. "
