Наверное, у каждой семьи в России есть похожая история о героических подвигах наших дедов. Помните ее и рассказывайте своим детям, ведь они сражались за наше светлое будущее!
А вот история моей семьи:
Мой прадед Гавриил Иванович Сидоров, гвардеец царского Семеновского полка, за свою жизнь стал участником штурма Зимнего Дворца и еще 2-ух войн: гражданской и Великой Отечественной.
Гавриил Иванович или Ганюшка, как ласково звали его родители и друзья, родился в 1895. Незадолго до революции 1917 года был призван в царский Семеновский полк. В пик революционных событий был ранен.
В гражданскую войну воевал на стороне красных и опять был тяжело ранен - пулеметная очередь прошла по всему телу. Прадед чудом выжил.
Вернувшись домой, Гавриил Иванович стал председателем колхоза "Воля", но, к несчастью, в один из дней конюшня и наполненный зерном амбар сгорели. За это Гавриил Иванович был отправлен в заполярье. Через пять лет вернулся, а дома его ожидала повестка на фронт. Началась Великая Отечественная Война.
И снова бывалый солдат, уже в солидном возрасте, смело и отважно воюет с немцами. Будучи, полковым разведчиком, однажды "взял" важного "языка", за что и был награжден медалью "За отвагу". В конце войны получил тяжелое ранение, но вернулся домой живым.
У Гавриила Ивановича было 6 сыновей - Михаил, Кирилл, Тимофей, Анатолий, Герман, Николай и 4 дочери - Анна, Вера, Екатерина и Римма - моя бабушка.
Семерым из десяти детей было суждено пройти дорогами Великой Отечественной Войны. Михаил - подводник, воевал на Дальнем Востоке. Тимофей, как и старший брат, сражался с фашистами на море. Герман воевал в сухопутных войсках. Анатолий награжден медалями "За отвагу", "За взятие Будапешта", "За взятие Берлина". Николай служил в аэродромном обслуживании и награжден медалью "За доблестный труд в тылу". Вера в 21 год ушла на фронт. Работала санитаркой в прифронтовых госпиталях. Награждена орденом "Красной звезды". Все они вернулись с войны живыми. Трагически сложилась судьба у танкиста Кирилла Сидорова, который погиб в ожесточенных боях за освобождение Старой Руссы в январе 1942 г.
Гавриил Иванович Сидоров завершил свой земной путь в 1972.

For this, Gabriel Ivanovich was sent to the Arctic. Five years later he returned, and at home he was waiting for a summons to the front. The Great Patriotic War began.
And again, an experienced soldier, already at a respectable age, boldly and courageously fights with the Germans. As a regimental intelligence officer, he once "took" an important "language", for which he was awarded the medal "For Courage". At the end of the war he was seriously wounded, but returned home alive.
Gavriil Ivanovich had 6 sons - Mikhail, Kirill, Timothy, Anatoly, German, Nikolai and 4 daughters - Anna, Vera, Catherine and Rimma - my grandmother.
Seven out of ten children were destined to pass the roads of World War II. Mikhail is a submariner who fought in the Far East. Timothy, like his elder brother, fought with the Nazis at sea. German fought in the ground forces. Anatoly was awarded the medals "For Courage", "For the Capture of Budapest", "For the Capture of Berlin". Nikolai served in the aerodrome service and was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor in the Rear". Faith at age 21 went to the front. She worked as a nurse in front-line hospitals. She was awarded the Order of the Red Star. They all returned from the war alive. The fate of the tanker Kirill Sidorov, who died in fierce battles for the liberation of Staraya Russa in January 1942, tragically happened.
Gavriil Ivanovich Sidorov completed his earthly journey in 1972.
