В этом сезоне в Гватемале меня укусил ядовитый паук, когда я лезла сквозь какие-то кусты в попытке подобраться поближе к труднодоступному участку с наскальными рисунками. Сначала на руке распухло место укуса. Спустя два дня распухла уже вся рука, отек добрался до локтя - и тот стал болеть, противно так, как будто по нерву ударили. И тут мне стало как-то неуютно ???? К моей величайшей радости, паук оказался хоть и ядовитым, но не сильно - еще через пару дней все начало понемногу проходить.

В Casa de las Golondrinas у нас вообще много соседей - грифы (zopilotes) и их птенцы, ящерицы, осы, слабоядовитая колючка chichicaste и другие приятные создания.
Лайфхак на будущее - если укусила непонятная тварь с неопределенной степенью ядовитости, сразу стоит сделать две вещи: во-первых, протереть место укуса лимоном, во-вторых, выпить стакан свежевыжатого лимонного сока. Большинство подобных ядов - щелочные по своему составу, и кислота их нейтрализует и разрушает.
P.S. природу все равно люблю)

This season in Guatemala I was bitten by a poisonous spider when I climbed through some bushes in an attempt to get closer to an inaccessible site with rock paintings. At first, the place of the bite swelled on the arm. Two days later, the whole arm was swollen, the swelling reached the elbow - and he began to hurt, disgusted as if hit on a nerve. Life hack for the future - if an incomprehensible creature has bitten with an indefinite degree of toxicity, two things should be done right away: firstly, wipe the place of the bite with lemon, and secondly, drink a glass of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Most of these poisons are alkaline in composition, and acid neutralizes and destroys them.
