Сегодня днем думала о разного рода зависимостях, попивая кофе ????????. И судя по всему размышления на эту тему будут позже.
Но этот день был бы неполным, если бы не тот факт, что я увидела журнал на полке в магазине, где на первых страницах было интервью мое научного руководителя, когда я училась в бакалавриате в МГУ. Мало кому известно, но им стал Директор Института Водных Проблем РАН РФ - В.И. Данилов-Данильян (в 90е при Ельцине он был министром окружающей среды и природных ресурсов)
Ох, я с ним познакомилась еще будучи студенткой IIго курса. Мне же так хотелось "творить добро", что и диплом планировала писать об этом. В итоге моя тема была про "водный след" (wate footprint) - сейчас этим термином никого не увидишь. Но тогда... Ох.. Я переводила ВСЕ по этой теме с английского языка. Не было не ЕДИНОЙ публикации про это. В итоге как вы понимаете, много времени ушло именно на перевод и нормальный русский язык. Потому что кальку с английского мы легко умеем делать. Меня тогда спасла Xenia Naumkina, у которой прекрасный редакторский талант.
To cut the story short: я ведь очень хотела иметь красный диплом МГУ. Ну вот не вышло из меня отличницы и там: в школьном аттестате ведь осталась та тройка по химии.
Вообщем, мой дорогой научный руководитель поставил мне 4 за мою итоговую работу. А это означало, что красный диплом накрылся медным тазом. Так как эта оценка была из самых важных. Все остальные пересданные экзамены канули в пустую ????.
Но на этом рассказ не заканчивается. Потом была Бельгия, и я по-моему даже успела забыть про полученный синий диплом. Но по возвращению в Москву меня ждал журнал об Устойчивом развитии на русском языке, где была статья о водном следе какого-то там ученого или исследователя. Мне было больно читать этот текст, и видеть как будто бы часть моего диплома перепечатана. Конечно, я не проверяла дотошно. Но с другой стороны, возможно мне нужно было порадоваться, что теперь эта тема освещена и по-русски.
Вот и сказке конец. А кто слушал, ой читал, МОЛОДЕЦ!

Oh, I met him as a second-year student. I really wanted to "do good", and the diploma was planning to write about it. There was no ONE publication about this. As a result, as you know, a lot of time was spent on translation and normal Russian. Because we can easily do tracing paper from English. Xenia Naumkina, who has a great editorial talent, saved me then.
To cut the story short: I really wanted to have a red diploma from Moscow State University. Well, the excellent student didn’t get out of me there either: in the school certificate, the three in chemistry remained.
In general, my dear scientific adviser gave me 4 for my final work. And this meant that the red diploma was covered with a copper basin. Since this assessment was one of the most important. All other retake exams have sunk into the empty ????.
But the story does not end there. Then there was Belgium, and in my opinion I even managed to forget about the blue diploma I received. But upon returning to Moscow, a magazine on Sustainable Development in Russian was waiting for me, where there was an article on the water footprint of some scientist or researcher there. It was painful for me to read this text, and to see as if part of my diploma was reprinted. Of course, I did not check meticulously. But on the other hand, maybe I should have been glad that now this topic is also covered in Russian.
