Второй день поездки был посвящен горному парку Рускеала. Рассказывать о всех его прелестях и красотах смысла никакого не вижу, потому что там побывать не успели, наверное, только самые ленивые или самые занятые) Расскажу о другом. Все время, что мы там гуляли, меня переполняло чувство радости и некой гордости за то, что с этим парком происходит последние лет 10. За неутомимое стремление руководства парка менять, преображать и совершенствовать его. Помню как еще в 2011 году в первый раз под эгидой vk.com/sochno я в качестве инструктора везла сюда группу. Помню что "входная группа" парка представляла собой маленький невзрачный бежевый домик (он сохранился до сих пор и есть на фото) и стоимость входа в парк составляла рублей 30 кажется. Помню что маршрутная тропа шла только вокруг озера. Мы конечно же уже тогда знали и про итальянский карьер, и про провал и про завод и водили туда свои группы нехожеными тропами. Но вот от глаз несведующих посетителей все это было скрыто за густой растительностью. Приезжая сюда с интервалом в 2-3 года, я каждый раз находила для себя что-то новое. То тропу до провала проложили, то пещерный маршрут запустили. В этот же раз для меня было очень много нового (давненько сюда не приезжала). Поставили несколько деревянных срубов в которых расположились уютные кафешки, ресторанчик, сувенирные лавки. Хорошая детская площадка. Детский восторг вызвал Рускеальский экспресс. Настоящий паровоз на углях! Который тянет три вагончика и курсирует между Сортавала и Рускеала. Пока еще не до конца обустроеная, но уже очень миленькая ж/д станция. И активно идущая стройка со стороны завода. Разговорились с сотрудником парка о ближайших планах. Он рассказал, что на территории парка будет построена гостиница, а на территории завода сделают музей, вход в парк и все срубы перенесут на ту сторону где завод. В общем, ждем новых невероятных преображений, чтобы вернуться сюда снова)

For the tireless desire of the park's management to change, transform and improve it. I remember that the “entrance group” of the park was a small nondescript beige house (it has been preserved to this day and is pictured) and the cost of entering the park was 30 rubles, it seems. I remember that the route trail went only around the lake. Of course, we already knew then about the Italian quarry, and about the failure and about the plant, and drove our groups there along unpopulated paths. But from the eyes of ignorant visitors, all this was hidden behind dense vegetation. Coming here with an interval of 2-3 years, each time I found something new for myself. They paved the path to failure, then launched the cave route. This time, for me, there were a lot of new things (I have not come here a long time ago). We put a few wooden log cabins in which cozy cafes, a restaurant, souvenir shops are located. Nice playground. The Ruskealsky express caused children's delight. A real coal engine! Which pulls three wagons and runs between Sortavala and Ruskeala. It is not yet fully equipped, but already a very nice train station. And actively going construction from the side of the plant. We talked with the employee of the park about the immediate plans. He said that a hotel will be built on the territory of the park, and a museum will be built on the territory of the plant, the entrance to the park and all log cabins will be transferred to the other side of the plant. In general, we are waiting for new incredible transformations to return here again)
