Вместо предисловия хотелось бы сразу насильно подчеркнуть для тех людей, которым два слова из заголовка показались не более чем буквосочетаниями:
Коннота́ция (позднелатинское connotatio, от лат. con (con) — вместе и noto — отмечаю, обозначаю) — сопутствующее значение языковой единицы.
Тождество, -а и Тожество. -а, ср. 1. Полное сходство, совпадение. Г. взглядов.
Откуда берутся сами коннотации сказать сложно. Вот, взять, к примеру, слово "лиса". Во многих языках лисой называют что-то хитрющее, юркое. И пусть, сама лиса — юркое и хитрое животное, но... почему, скажем, не "воробей"? Вы видели когда-нибудь как воробьи, невзирая на свои размеры, выхватывают чуть ли не из пасти у голубей брошенные крошки?.. Вот и думай теперь — почему именно лиса?
Другой пример, о котором изначально и хотел написать это тоже животное — УТКА. Самая обычная утка - довольно обычная птица, кому-то нравится, кому не нравится, кому-то вкусно, а кому-то противно, для кого-то ценность утки заключается в утинных яйцах, а для другого в концфетах "утиные лапки".
А что в слове "утка" лежит в глубине?.. Эм... возможно это и не коннотации вовсе, хотя... я лишь рассуждаю, а критикуют пусть более грамотные специалисты.
Утка. Это специальный медицинский "инструмент" для сбора прямо скажем отходов жизнедеятельности... дерьмо, в общем...
*uck. В смысле Duck, но именно через звёздочку. Сейчас иногда вижу рекламу переводчиков, где красуется силуэт утки и слово *uck... которое определённо должно восприниматься именно как *uck, а не *uck... в том смысле, что это "трагическая ситуация ближайшей истории, вызывающая строго отрицательные эмоции"... дерьмо, в общем...
Утка. Утка. Утка. Что она делает? Крякаяет. Крякает. Крякалки. Иногда видишь, как нелегальные мигалки и крякалки ездят по дороге как в собственном парке атракционов и думаешь... дерьмо, в общем...
К слову сказать, сами утки тоже не ангельские создания. Если Вы наблюдаете их в водоёме, знайте - в воде много гнили и других неприятных мелочей жизни. Вроде бы пришли искупаться, а тут утки... дерьмо, в общем...
И по всему этому у меня один единственный вопрос. Почему утки? Почему не ГОЛУБИ?
