Мистер Скьюз хотел показать общественности, что татуировка - это культура с богатой традицией, древнее ремесло и настоящее искусство. В своих стенах Клуб собрал как мастеров, так и просто любителей подзабиться. BTC стал местом, где люди, объединенные одной любовью, могли встретиться, показать свои татухи и поговорить о главном.
В начале пятидесятых Лес организовал первую в Британии и, думается, первую в мире Тату Конвенцию. В 1956 году Лес достиг берегов нового света и в компании местных мастеров провел первую американскую конвенцию.
Клуб до сих пор существует. Sailor Jerry Collins, Tattoo Jack, Leslie Burchett, Charlie Snow, Lyle Tutt, - а это далеко не весь список его знаменитых участников.

Mr. Scuse wanted to show the public that a tattoo is a culture with a rich tradition, ancient craft and real art. Within its walls, the Club has gathered both masters and just amateurs to forget about it. BTC has become a place where people united by one love could meet, show their tatuhi and talk about the main thing.
In the early fifties, Les organized the first in Britain and, it seems, the world's first Tattoo Convention. In 1956, the Forest reached the shores of the new world and, in the company of local craftsmen, held the first American convention.
The club still exists. Sailor Jerry Collins, Tattoo Jack, Leslie Burchett, Charlie Snow, Lyle Tutt - and this is not the whole list of its famous participants.
