Art doesn't have to be obvious and predictable.
It's in a human nature - to take what comes easy, take what's already familiar and reject what's new. Impression, experience, emotions and thoughts. The New is too difficult, cause often it dissonant with the things that we already know, sometimes it dissonant even with our essence. But only the New can evolve us. Incomprehensible, clumsy, "out of range" things worth the time and effort to understand, to feel them deeply. It's not always makes you smarter, but makes your mind wider.
And I think that we should stop treating artworks (no matter what is it - paintings, music, modern dance or anything else) only as an attraction and start think about them as about a training machine for our minds.

Искусство не должно быть очевидным и предсказуемым.
Это в человеческой природе - брать то, что легко, брать то, что уже знакомо, и отвергать то, что новое. Впечатление, опыт, эмоции и мысли. Новое слишком сложно, потому что часто оно диссонирует с тем, что мы уже знаем, иногда оно диссонирует даже с нашей сущностью. Но только Новое может развить нас. Непонятные, неуклюжие, «вне досягаемости» вещи, которые стоят времени и усилий, чтобы понять, почувствовать их глубоко. Это не всегда делает тебя умнее, но расширяет кругозор.
И я думаю, что мы должны перестать воспринимать произведения искусства (независимо от того, что это - картины, музыка, современные танцы или что-то еще) только как аттракцион и начать думать о них как о тренажере для наших умов.
